The project

The incident response and business continuity procedures review for a large investment holding company was a comprehensive effort aimed at identifying and addressing any gaps in the company's current procedures. The project was executed in several stages, beginning with an analysis of all relevant documentation related to the company's incident response and business continuity procedures. This initial analysis served as the foundation for the next stage—conducting workshops with business stakeholders.

What we did

We gathered a team of experts in incident response, business continuity, and security to lead the review. The team conducted an in-depth analysis of all relevant documentation, including past incident reports, current procedures, and industry best practices. This information was then used as a foundation for workshops with business stakeholders, utilising a combination of quantitative and qualitative research methods to gather data and feedback.

The team gathered information on the current pain points and concerns of stakeholders and used it to identify potential gaps and areas for improvement in the current procedures.

Board-level investment secured

The final step was to use the information gathered throughout the project to develop a comprehensive security plan that addressed the identified pain points and gaps in current procedures. The plan was presented to the board of the investment holding company, which ultimately decided to invest tens of millions of dollars in security over the next few years to improve incident response and business continuity procedures—thus protecting the company's assets and reputation.
